Aluminum foundry

Our aluminum foundry offers different tooling methods to accommodate a customer’s requirements including machined matchplates and core boxes when required.

Size range: 24” x 24” x 6”; up to 30 lbs.

Bronze foundry

Our bronze foundry offers different tooling methods to accommodate a customer’s requirements including machined matchplates and core boxes when required.

Size range: 24” x 24” x 6”; up to 100 lbs.

Permanent mold casting

Permanent mold aluminum castings can be completed by tilt pour methods using permanent mold or semi-permanent molds.

Size range: 30” x 30”; up to 30 lbs.

Sand casting

Aluminum sand castings and bronze sand castings are completed using Hunter matchplate molding, roto lift, and jolt squeeze methods in our sand foundry. Pre-production and production of sand casting orders are completed as needed in our sand foundry.

Machined aluminum casting

All aluminum castings manufactured can be CMM verified. Heat treatment for machined aluminum casting is completed on site. Alloys used are A356.2, A319.0 and Almag 35. All machined aluminum casting and CMM verification completed onsite. All machined aluminum castings manufactured by sand cast or gravity permanent mold. All machined aluminum processes operate under ISO-9001-2008 quality systems.

Machined bronze casting

Machined bronze castings include valve works, electrical and fluid handling applications. Many such castings are completed as pressure tight finished goods. All bronze melting completed with induction melting. Machined bronze casting alloys include:

  • CDA 81000 Copper Alloy (99.995)
  • CDA 83400
  • CDA 83600 Leaded Red Brass
  • CDA 84400
  • CDA 86500 Manganese Bronze
  • CDA 87500 Silicon Bronze
  • CDA C-922 Naval Bronze
  • CDA C-952 Aluminum Bronze
